Most of my finals are out of the way.
The weather's wonderful.
I found the PS2 Sakura Wars V for about $30 (shipping included) online, which both completes my collection of (relevant) Sakura Wars games and marks me as a total fanatic for the series.
I have a measure of breathing space, which means that I can start apping for Hyatt at YAH.
In addition to being the sole cause of a close friend getting hooked on video games in general, I have hooked her on bizarre Japanese games (Puchi Carat, Ragnarok Battle Offline, and Pokemon), just as she's gotten me hooked to higher-octane games (Guilty Gear, Guitar Hero, and New Super Mario Bros).
Lucky Star is looking up, Manabi Straight is hopefully being subbed again, and Hayate the Combat Butler is, so far, a big pile of win. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is, also, a great movie.
Simple, though occasionally bizarre, pleasures.
